I stayed for 6 nights in the Superior Double Room. The room felt surprisingly spacious and was always clean, perfect for two. Room service tidied up daily, which was a delight after we returned from exploring. Breakfast offered a nice variety each morning, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Ibrahim, at reception, was exceptionally welcoming, giving us helpful sightseeing tips and even arranged a surprise birthday cake for me, showcasing the staff's personal touch. However, the wooden floor creaked quite a bit, making it hard to sleep at times due to noise from above or below. On another note, they sometimes ran out of omelettes during breakfast, but Yaqub was quick to ensure we were getting freshly made ones. Overall, the hotel was cozy and provided a lovely mix of comfort and hospitality.

my stay at mataraci konak was an absoluteley underwhelming experience, especially since i almost gave them a good review. the wooden floors creaked like an old haunted house, waking me constantly. i also expected a complimentary drink upon arrival, but apparently, they don’t do that. if only they prioritized their loyal guests!
